
Kenneth "Ken" M. CourtneyAssociate
Ken received his undergraduate degree in Administration of Justice from Penn State University, with a year abroad at the University of Exeter in England. Upon earning his law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School, Ken commenced his now twenty-five-year legal career in litigation practice. In doing so, he has extensive experience in handling complex matters through all stages of litigation through all phases of discovery including depositions of party and expert witnesses, motion practice, arbitration/mediation, trial, and appeal. Ken has expertise in litigating every variety of general liability and high-exposure matters, product and premises liability, wrongful death, as well as contractual indemnification and insurance litigation. Since joining Thompson Becker, Ken has dedicated his litigation skills toward the representation and defense of architects, engineers, surveyors, and related professionals.
