
Chris HarttAssociate
Chris received his undergraduate degree in Politics-Philosophy with a minor in Administration of Justice from the University of Pittsburgh before graduating magna cum laude from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where he also worked as a staff editor on the Drexel Law Review, and as teaching assistant for multiple first-year courses.
Following law school, Chris served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mary C. Jacobson, A.J.S.C. of Mercer County and then spent several years as a research attorney for the Appellate Division, providing legal analysis and recommendations to New Jersey’s appellate judges in a variety of challenging appeals. Chris then entered private practice, primarily defending general liability matters. Chris has experience with a broad array of legal issues, having analyzed or litigated cases ranging from products and premises liability matters, to criminal and immigration appeals, to complex commercial matters.
After his first year in litigation, Chris joined Thompson Becker to bring his experience analyzing diverse and complex legal issues to the defense of design and construction professionals.
